Where are the old pictures that used to be here? Ta da!
Thanks to sculptor Noah Kirby for his generous donation of Perspective Device from OUTSIDE. We're proud to have it as a permanent piece at The Harveyville Project.
Recent Press:
No More Teachers, No More Books by Frank Tankard for Lawrence.com
Frank Morris' piece about Prom for public radio's Weekend America (also aired during KCUR Kansas City Public Radio's Weekend Edition)
And although the story says he "keeps to himself," Harveyville's Sean Miller did, in fact, hit the dance floor! Thanks for joining us again this year, Sean!

Who's fancy? We are, that's who! The Harveyville Project is in the April/May ReadyMade! By Lisa Selin Davis, with photos by Colby Lysne.

Now in development: The Harveyville Project, a creative residence, retreat, and workshop getaway, surrounded by the distance and alarming beauty of Eastern Kansas. Enjoy the solid, reassuring institutional architecture of the early 20th century amidst fresh air, breathtaking stars and moonlight, rolling hills, weather you can watch from miles away, and quiet you can actually hear.
Conveniently located at the corner of No and Where. Nary a McDonalds nor Starbucks as far as the eye can see, but still a comfy drive from civilization. 50 minutes to Lawrence, 35 to Topeka, and less than two hours to Kansas City.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? We're a project residence for creative work and a venue for workshops and retreats. We host our own workshops, but we can also host yours (contact us for our low rates).
Our early bird residents have included a musician, a software programmer, a knitwear designer and a photographer. Come to polish up a composition, finish your thesis or web project, or build an entire portfolio.
Paid residencies start at a week and can last several months. Fees cover your room, all bills, and dinner every night.
